Movie Making Camp

Lights! Camera! Action! Roll out the red carpet for some movie-making magic!

Make your own movies from start to finish with movie enthusiast Sebastian Lasbo, who has worked on many film and TV productions. Develop and write a movie, explore different ways of filming and acting to set the mood, and learn to put the finishing touches on through editing.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own movies that they have made or their favorite films as inspiration. You will be involved in the moviemaking process, either as actors, doing the camera work, preparing costumes, directing, or all of the above. You will work with a variety of interactive movie making games and challenges to get the creative juices flowing. You will make at least one movie per day using iPads (provided), explore different genres and styles, and combine them into one longer film that uses all the cinematic elements covered.
