Akaya Windwood is the author of Leading with Joy: Practices for Uncertain Times, and founding Director of Third Act, a nonprofit organization dedicated to facilitating transformation. In 2018, Akaya was named one of the Conscious Company’s 30 World Changing Women. In 2020, she received multiple awards for her work, including the 2020 Vision Award from Middlebury College and The Ella Award from the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights.
